About
Led by Martin Tremblay
Martin is an Enterprise Architect who has spent over 25 years as a trusted advisor to leadership teams across telecom, retail, fintech, logistics, consulting, and public sector organizations.
His approach starts with people, not platforms. He's built his reputation earning trust with skeptical business stakeholders, translating between technical and business priorities, and moving decisions forward in politically charged environments, on programs ranging from a $53M satellite business support system to a 7,200-person retail transformation spanning five continents.
Martin also brings that same grounded, no-hype approach to AI. Rather than chasing every new tool, he helps organizations cut through the noise: understanding where AI genuinely fits their operations, where it doesn't yet, and how to move forward without betting the business on hype.
Aspiro Consulting exists to bring that same relationship-first advisory approach to organizations that need a technology partner they can actually trust, not just another vendor with a deliverable. Based in Victoria, BC, and working with clients across North America.

How we work together
- We start by listening to the people who have to live with a decision, not just the ones signing off on it
- We build governance that businesses actually adopt, because it's designed with them instead of handed to them
- We stay close to vendors and delivery partners, so nothing gets lost in translation between strategy and execution
- We mentor the teams we work with, so the capability stays after the engagement ends
Approach
How an Engagement Actually Works
We start with the people who have to live with a decision, not just the ones signing off on it.
We cut through the noise to find where technology genuinely fits your business, and where it doesn't yet.
We build a plan and a governance model your business actually co-creates, not one handed down to it.
We stay close through execution, working directly with your vendors and delivery partners.
We mentor the people we work with, so the capability outlasts the engagement.

Questions
Questions Worth Asking First
What is enterprise architecture, really?
It's the discipline of aligning an organization's strategy, business processes, and technology so a decision made in one doesn't quietly break another. Done well, it's mostly invisible. You just stop getting surprised by your own systems.
Do I need to be a large enterprise to benefit?
No. The organizations that benefit most are often mid-sized ones facing a major platform or transformation decision for the first time, where the cost of getting it wrong is high and the internal experience doing it is thin.
How is this different from hiring a systems integrator?
A systems integrator is usually paid to build or implement something specific. Aspiro is paid to give independent advice before and during that decision, with no vendor or delivery incentive attached to which platform or partner you choose.
What does an engagement actually look like?
It starts as a conversation, not a proposal. From there, most engagements follow the approach above: understanding who's affected, cutting through vendor claims and internal noise, building a plan people actually buy into, and staying involved through delivery.
Where does AI fit into enterprise architecture?
AI decisions are architecture decisions: they touch your data, your systems, and how your organization actually works, not just which model you pick. The same discipline that applies to any platform choice applies here: understand what a tool actually does, where it creates real value, and where it's being oversold, before it becomes a permanent fixture in your operations.
